When Tax Digital was introduced a couple of my existing clients found the prospect very daunting, as I was already bookkeeping for my partner I decided to offer the service as a one stop shop!

Once we started we realised it made the preparation for an annual audit a lot more straight forward, we have already intercepted the details from the invoices for the audit and loaded them onto the farm package before they are sent to the accountants, the most annoying non-conformance from any Farm Assurance auditor is to send in a copy of an invoice when it back from the accountants!

All bookkeeping is carried out on SAGE cloud based packages and so is accessible for ourselves and our client.

Bookkeeping is normally carried out remotely at our site office and is offered as an add on to the Farm Audits, due to high demand we no longer take on clients for Bookkeeping only.
